FOREST RESOURSES

Forest play an important role in the development of a country.They moderate the climate and provide numerous raw materials for various product.Thick forest are found in,Muslim world in those,region,where monsoon winds blow and there is a heavy rain and hot moist weather.In Malaysia,70 percent of the land is covered with forest.In Indonesia also there re so many.
                 The forest provide costly wood like mahogany,ebony,sandal,teak etc.The wood is used in making building materials,boats,matches,railway,wagons,furniture etc.Forest of soft wood like pine and cedar are found in the northern west in Pakistan,Nothern provinces of Iran and along the mountains slopes of Kirgizstan and Tajikistan.Forest of useful trees are also found in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.
